Mission Statement
The Patriot Activities Council enhances the college experience for all Mason students by providing entertaining, impactful, low- or no-cost events that appeal to various interests in order to create a more engaged, connected, and active student body. PAC envisions inclusive, engaged communities where every student has the opportunity to create memorable experiences and connections.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What kind of events does PAC put on?
A: PAC puts on a wide variety of events throughout the year, including carnivals, concerts, tailgates, murder mystery’s, halloween themed events, cultural events, dances, and so on. If you have any ideas for an event, feel free to pitch it to us!
Q: How much does it cost to attend PAC events?
A: Most PAC events are FREE to students! When we do trips or discounted tickets to local attractions, those tickets typically have costs. However, we try to keep these costs very low.
Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: It depends on the event! PAC hosts events for Mason students as a whole. Certain events may have the option to include a guest, but it’s best to check the details for the event in Mason 360 before deciding to bring along a guest.
Q: Do I need my Mason ID?
A: Always! Want to make sure you are a student, so we check in all attendees for PAC events through the Mason 360. We expect everyone to come with their Mason ID, whether it’s your ID card or your mobile ID.
Q: Do I need the Mason360 app to attend?
A: It is strongly recommended that you have the app downloaded on your phone to speed up the check-in process at events.
Q: Can I join PAC?
A: Yes! Any Mason student that’s interested can join PAC as a Street Team member. Click the Join PAC! tab for more info on how to join.
Q: What is Street Team?
A: Street Team is the volunteer general body of PAC who help staff and execute PAC events, as well as provide valuable insight during planning and preparation. Any mason student can be a Street Team member, and our events would not be possible without them!
Q: Who decides our headliner for Mason Day?
A: PAC works with the Associate Director of Campus Events to determine the Mason Day Headliner, Homecoming Headliner, and other large-scale shows on campus sponsored by Student Involvement. We consider budget, availability, event spaces available, and other factors when choosing headliners.
