Featuring a HUGE carnival with rides, games, delicious treats, food trucks, inflatables, novelties, student performances all day, of course, our lovely Mason Day T-shirts and goodies (while supplies last)! All events are FREE* to Mason faculty, staff, and students.

Ticketing and Admissions

Students/Faculty/Staff – FREE admission* with valid Mason ID

  • FREE with Mason ID: Visit https://masoncard.gmu.edu/ for more information about ID cards.
  • Guest tickets sold only at EagleBank Arena Box Office- In person only & No online sales! For more information on EBA payment methods please visit: https://www.eaglebankarena.com/events/box-office
    • Guest tickets for Mason Day go on sale at 12pm on Wednesday, April 9th!
      • EBA Box Office Ticket sales will close at 9:30pm Friday, April 25th
    • $35 Non-students (purchased through box office at EBA, all guests must enter with a Mason ID holder, limit one non-student guest per ID Holder)
    • Guest over 36″ must pay for a ticket. Individuals under 36″ are free as they are unable to ride the carnival rides due to height restrictions.
    • Payment options at the box office include all major credit cards (Visa, MC, Amex, and Discover). Credit card machines have NFC technology and can also use contactless payment with Apple Pay, Google Pay and any major credit card with updated Tap-to-Pay technology.

Free admission includes unlimited rides on carnival attractions, games, activities and novelties, and the full day of stage performances and concerts. Food trucks, carnival food, and vendors are not included in the free admission.

  

Frequently asked questions

Mason Day takes place rain or shine. That being said, we may choose to shut down or delay Mason Day in the case of lightning, major national weather warnings, or natural disasters.  Please follow @masonpatriots to get updates and information about Mason Day.

Mason Day, like most other events produced by Student Involvement, is intended for an audience that is 18 or over. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This is an event intended for college-aged students and above and may not be suitable for young children.  

All bags will be searched upon entry into the event. No outside beverages are permitted.  You may bring an empty water bottle into the venue and fill it with one of our water filling stations. If you have a full drink container, you will be asked to empty it prior to entering the space or dispose of it in a trash receptable.
