Welcome to Mason Spirit Squad!

Who We Are
Mason Spirit Squad is a volunteer-based group of students who have a passion for sharing their Patriot Pride with their peers and the Mason Nation as a whole.

Our Mission:
Mason Spirit Squad cultivates our community of student leaders by developing career-ready skills through multiple strategies of marketing and promotion for George Mason University Student Involvement. We build a stronger community and enhance the college experience for students, all while having tons of fun!

What We Do:

  • Represent SI office and the University as a whole.
  • Promote all SI departments and events.
  • Distribute print collateral such as posters and flyers throughout campus.
  • Host promotional events for SI, utilizing tabling, kiosks, the SI2GO truck and other means.
  • Market over social media by interacting w/posts. i.e., liking, commenting, and sharing official media from the SI offices.
  • Attend our weekly meetings to stay connected with the team.

Mason Spirit Squad is an opportunity to develop and refine career ready skills in verbal and written communication, public speaking, marketing and promotion, social media management, event execution, fiscal responsibilities, and others. We build skills that will be applicable over a lifetime. If you consider yourself a team-player, are passionate and motivated, are excited to be more involved with campus life, and are unafraid to take risks in the name of school spirit, we encourage you to volunteer with us now!
