Workshops

Attitude of Gratitude
Gratitude is the appreciation of what is valuable and meaningful to oneself which has been associated with more positive emotions, greater meaning in life, and better strategies to cope with life stress. In this workshop students will cultivate resiliency by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things they’re thankful for while enhancing well-being.

The Matter of Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the practice of being in the present moment—not worrying about what happened in the past, not over thinking about what is going to happen in the future, but rather focusing your attention on what is happening in the here and now. This workshop is geared towards cultivating an engaging space for George Mason students to participate in the practice of mindfulness and offer different tools to sustaining a higher well-being.

Self-Love & Healthy Relationships
Practicing self-love and developing healthy relationships are fundamental components to boosting well-being. This workshop offers conversation around the different ways students can foster a self-compassionate attitude while also cultivating nourishing relationships with others.
