Bench Painting
The Bench Painting Party will take place on Monday, May 6th from 11am-3pm on the SUB I Quad (Rain date: May 7th)

The Bench Painting application process is very competitive with only 40 benches to be allocated for painting, and over 60 applications received. All organizations who have been allocated a bench have been notified, as well as those who were not allocated a bench this year.
Method of review:
Any applications that were received after the Monday, April 22nd 9pm deadline (this includes sketches that were submitted through the gate of the Office of Student Involvement after closing time) are ineligible for a bench.
Any incomplete applications, this includes not having submitted an online application and only having submitted a sketch or having submitted a sketch, and not an online application, are ineligible to receive a bench.
Any applications that are missing the signature of a faculty advisor may be ineligible to receive a bench.
Applications with sketches that were submitted without any coloring may not be eligible for a bench.
We review the responses to all of the questions listed in the application in order to make informed decisions regarding the allocation and distribution of benches.
Bench Painting instructions:
Benches need to be painted on Monday, May 6th during the Bench Painting Party. If it is predicted to rain on Monday, we will be prepared to host the Bench Painting Party on Tuesday, May 7th. Please plan accordingly. All allocated benches must be painted by Friday, May 10th. If your organization is not able to paint your bench by sunset on Friday, May 10th, you forfeit your bench and your organization will be ineligible for a bench the following year. After Monday, May 6th (or Tuesday, May 7th in the case it rains on Monday) your organization is responsible for providing any painting materials necessary to finish painting your bench. The Office of Student Involvement will only provide supplies during the Bench Painting Party. No supplies will be available for checkout afterward.
